- Athena was the first daughter of Zeus and was born of only Zeus, and she was the third oldest child.
- Athena was Zeus' favorite child because of she was born of himself and no one else. Because of this she was allowed to use anything of his that she wanted to, including his thunderbolts, and she alone was entitled to wear his aegis and cary his shield.
- Athena rather then fight all of the time, she worked for peace everywhere and tried to prevent people from fighting on another. like in the Odyssey after odysseus killed all of the suitors she made sure that there was peace between the families and Odysseus.
- Athena and Poseidon wanted the city of Athens for themselves but only one could have it so the each gave the city a gift, but in the end Athena's olive tree proved more useful so the people chose Athena to be their patron goddess and named the city after her, hence the name Athens.
- Athena turned Medusa into a monster because she was always bragging about how pretty she was. so know she cannot look at herself or she will to stone, and same for anyone else who looks at her.
- Athena Hera and Aphrodite all wanted this golden apple that was addressed to the fairest, so Zeus sent them to Paris the prince of Troy so that he would decide who would be considered the fairest.
